Lasagna

Oh man, I got a break Friday night as I was supposed to cook dinner for our friends that were coming over. But, the day just got away from me with the kids and all. My wife decides she will cook lasagna. Now, if you know my wife, she is not the wifely cooking type Kitchener person. I was a little hesitant only because she has that nonchalant attitude about it. Me, I get all worked up because the cheese mixture has to be measured and prepared. The meats have to be prepared. I was finally banished from the kitchen, I just couldn't stop running in there to check on everything. Sure enough, that woman produced a lasagna dinner that was awesome! Probably helped by the fact that someone else cooked it! She fried up some sweet Italian sausage to put in there. She fried up some hamburg. She mixed this and that into the sauce and oh yummy, that was some good shtuff!

Jobs and No Jobs

So the job market sucks yet people are still working. What can we do to get jobs? I have replied to at least 75 job postings in the last 12 months. Most I don't get any call back from. Some call me and want to do a telephone interview, which I do. Some want me to come in to interview. None have hired me yet. Why, am I over qualified? Is it because I am white? Is it because I am not 22 years old fresh out of college? Is it because I know what I am talking about? How about the fact that I come to work early and leave late? Whatever the reasons, it's just not happening. I am really stressed out about it.
